Today, Vivo announced the date of its upcoming spring product launch event, which will introduce three new products: the Vivo X Note, Vivo X Fold, and Vivo Pad.
In the official announcement, Vivo revealed that its first foldable phone comes from the “Foldable Screen 2.0 era.” However, they did not clarify what it means. The company also mentioned the slogan of the new device, which is “big and bold”.
Some sides of the vivo X Fold have already appeared in official teasers. This new foldable phone seems to be another standard foldable device. However, Vivo has not yet revealed its full appearance, so we can still look forward to a unique, innovative, and premium experience from this device.
According to reports, the codename for the vivo X Fold is ‘Butterfly,’ and the butterfly pattern in the wallpaper is a subtle reference to this. Previously, the codename for the foldable phone was ‘Peacock.’ Since both companies belong to the same parent company, their naming conventions are quite similar.
According to sources, the Vivo X Fold will feature a 6.53-inch OLED external display with Full HD+ resolution, a built-in 4600mAh battery, and support 80W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging. The device is only 6.28 mm thick.
