Vivo has begun teasing its upcoming spring product launch event, and one of the most eye-catching devices is the Vivo X Fold. Today, Vivo revealed the first renders of this phone.
The latest teaser for the vivo X Fold reveals its appearance. As the teaser shows, the device features a design that blends square and round elements.
The back of the phone features a circular camera module, housing four lenses jointly developed by Vivo and Zeiss. The vivo X Fold also uses a pure leather texture on the back, enhancing grip comfort and ensuring a premium user experience.
The device also uses hypersensing technology during opening and closing. However, the company has not disclosed the exact meaning or working principle of this technology. A USB Type-C port and speaker are located on the bottom of the body.
Next is the Vivo Pad. Vivo has also released a teaser and announced that the Vivo Pad will debut on April 11. However, since Vivo had already disclosed the same information last Friday, no new details were revealed this time. For full details, please refer to our previous article.
The Vivo X Fold features a 6.53-inch OLED external screen with a single punch-hole at the top and full HD+ resolution. The internal screen uses an 8-inch E5 LTPO UTG display with a higher 2K resolution. The device also has an under-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor under the screen. The body thickness is only 6.28mm, making it an ultra-thin device.
The device has a 4600mAh battery, supporting 80W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging. The quad-camera system includes the following lenses: a 50MP 1/1.5-inch main lens, a 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 12MP telephoto lens (supporting 2x optical zoom), and an 8MP full focal-length lens (supporting 5x optical zoom).
Vivo is expected to reveal more highlights regarding the Vivo X Fold in the coming days.
