This morning, Vivo officially announced that they will launch the all-new Vivo X60 series on December 29. The company has released the launch date poster on its official Weibo account.
The phone seems to be very camera-focused, as the main highlight of the camera, the “ultra-stable Micro-head sensor”, is also mentioned in the poster.
As we reported earlier, the all-new Vivo X60 will feature the Exynos 1080 chipset (for the first time), a 5nm octa-core chipset based on the EUV manufacturing process. The chipset has the highest frequency of 2.8GHz with a Cortex-A78 core. The chipset also has a Mali-G78 GPU.
The high-end version would be named Vivo X60 Pro+. It will be powered by Snapdragon 888 chipset.
It is also expected that the Vivo X60 series will feature an AMOLED Display with curved sides. The display would feature a 120Hz refresh rate. There may be a single punch-hole on the standard version’s display and a dual punch-hole on the higher-end variant.
A quad-camera setup is also being developed in collaboration with Zeiss Optics. The following lenses are included in the camera: a micro-head camera lens, two parallel camera lenses, and a ToF camera.
