This morning, Xiaomi officially announced that the Xiaomi 12 series will be launched on December 28 at 19:30 at a launch event.
The official also mentioned: “The faster and more stable Xiaomi 12 has launched a new chapter for 2022 at a new stable speed,” which indicates that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 will take the Xiaomi 12’s performance to a new level.
The official announcement did not reveal much more information except the launch date. However, according to previous information, the Xiaomi 12 series will have three devices: Xiaomi 12X, Xiaomi 12, and Xiaomi 12 Pro.
It is worth mentioning that Xiaomi 12X is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 870 5G chipset, while the other two variants will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.
The Xiaomi 12 will have a 4500mAh battery with 67W fast charging. At the same time, the Xiaomi 12 Pro will have a larger 5000mAh battery and support 20W fast charging.
