This morning, Xiaomi announced that the Xiaomi 12 series will be launched on December 28 at 19:30 at a launch event.
Xiaomi also mentioned: ‘The faster and more stable Xiaomi 12 opens a new chapter for 2022 with a new stable speed,’ indicating that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 will elevate the Xiaomi 12’s performance to a new level.
The official announcement did not reveal more information apart from the release date. However, according to previous reports, the Xiaomi 12 series will include three devices: 12X, 12, and 12 Pro.
It is worth mentioning that the Xiaomi 12X is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 870 5G chipset, while the other two variants will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.
The Xiaomi 12 will have a 4500 mAh battery and support 67W fast charging. At the same time, the Xiaomi 12 Pro will have a 5000 mAh battery and support 120W fast charging.
