The company mentioned in an official post that ‘it’s like stepping into an uncharted land full of treasures.’ This is accurate as there are no phones with this chipset on the market yet. Therefore, this smartphone may not face any competitors in the short term. However, many other companies are already planning to use this chipset in their smartphones.

The Snapdragon 888 5G is an octa-core chipset built on a 5nm process. The chipset includes a Cortex-X1 core clocked at 2.84 GHz, three Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.42 GHz, and four Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.8 GHz, and it features an Adreno 660 GPU.

This phone also appeared on Geekbench. Its single-core score is about 1100, while the multi-core score reaches 3600. Compared to its predecessor, these results are quite impressive.

As previously reported, the Xiaomi 11 series is expected to feature a hyperboloid curved screen. The Xiaomi 11 Pro is also expected to feature a 2K resolution display. All models in the series support a 120Hz refresh rate.

Real-life photos of the Xiaomi 11 have been leaked on the internet. According to the images, the device features a triple rear camera system in a square module, with two large sensors and a smaller sensor above the LED flash.
