Today, Black Shark has officially announced that the company will launch the Black Shark 5 series on March 30. However, the company hasn’t revealed much more than the release date in the first teaser article.
The company has also used the slogan “Breaking through Gravity” to represent the Black Shark 5 series.
Previously, both phones from the Black Shark 5 series were also listed on the TENAA certification, which revealed almost all of the device’s specifications.
Both phones feature the same 6.67-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a higher refresh rate, but they are slightly different in size and weight.
The Black Shark 5 has the following dimensions and weight: 83 x 76.25 x 10.37 mm and 223g, while the Black Shark 5 Pro’s dimensions and weight are 86 x 76.53 x 9.8 mm and 226g. Both phones also feature the same 4650mAh battery and 100W fast charging.
The Black Shark 5 is powered by the Snapdragon 870 chipset, while the Black Shark 5 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. It is worth mentioning that the company has been using the Snapdragon 870 chipset in its predecessor.
The Black Shark 5 features a triple camera module with a 64MP primary lens on the back and a 13MP lens on the front. The Black Shark 5 Pro also features a triple camera module with a 108MP primary lens. The front also uses a 13MP lens.
The officials are expected to reveal more details about the specifications in the upcoming days.
