Keyboard for HP ZBook 15 G5, ZBook 17 G5 L28407-001 Replacement Tips:

1. The keyboard with gray frame.
2. If you need a keyboard in another language, please contact us.
3. To replace the keyboard, you need to slide the latch to remove the bottom plate, and disconnect the battery connector from the motherboard. Remove the three Phillips PM2.0×2.0 screws that secure the keyboard to the laptop.
4. Insert a thin, plastic tool into the keyboard release hole near the vent, and then press on the back of the keyboard until the keyboard disengages from the laptop.
5. Disconnect the keyboard cable, backlit cable, and pointing stick cable from the motherboard.

This keyboard will NOT work as replacement for HP part number L29635-001 because it does NOT have the privacy screen function on the button. You should remove that part number reference from the description. Mike Tighe asked on April 13, 2023
