Lenovo ThinkPad X280 was launched in February 2018. The laptop comes with a 12.5-inch screen with a resolution of 1366 x 768 or 1920 x 1080. It also has a touchscreen option available.
The most obvious change of the ThinkPad X280 is that the fuselage has changed from fiberglass + engineering plastics to carbon fiber + magnesium alloy, which not only makes the fuselage more solid but also reduces the thickness and weight of the fuselage. For business products that often need to be carried out, the X280 is only 17.8mm thick and less than 1.3kg (without adapter), compared to the X270 20.3mm thickness and 1.32kg weight is obviously improved.
The X280 has two Type-C ports on the left side, both of which can be connected to the charger, and one of which also replaces the bottom dock connector. The X280 will be connected to the dedicated dock via the left port. In addition, there is a USB3.0 Type-A, an HDMI, and a two-in-one microphone jack on the left side of the fuselage.
The right side of the fuselage is relatively simple, in addition to a large area of the air outlet, there is a USB3.0 Type-A that supports shutdown charging and an anti-theft lock hole.
