Xiaomi Mi 3 Disassembly
In this guide, I will explain how to disassemble the Xiaomi Mi 3 to remove the back cover, battery, rear camera, front camera, speaker, Power button, screen, and motherboard.

There is no screw on the back cover.
Remove the SIM card. There are two screws on the SIM card slot. Remove two screws. One of the screws is covered with a sticker. If the sticker is damaged, the warranty will be void.
Pry up and remove the back cover.
Remove the eleven screws securing the middle frame to the motherboard.
Insert a pry tool under the middle frame. Slide the pry tool to separate the middle frame from the phone. You can access the motherboard and battery.
The NFC chip is connected to the middle frame and is covered above the battery.
The middle frame integrated a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Remove the three screws securing the speaker module.
Remove the two screws securing the motherboard and disconnect the three cables.
The Xiaomi Mi3 motherboard has been removed.
Handset, touch chip, light sensor, and vibrator.
The ATMEL MXT540S touch chip is responsible for managing the touch screen and recognizing user actions.
The vibrator is connected to the motherboard through two spring contacts and is fixed with double-sided tape.
The Xiaomi Mi 3 features a 3050mAh battery, and the battery cell comes from Samsung.
The flexible circuit board integrates the motherboard connection cable, USB port, microphone, and other components.
The RF cable on the Xiaomi 3 is secured with rubber strips. The rubber material can insulate the signal, ensuring that signal transmission is not affected. Additionally, the rubber strips offer a more secure hold for the RF cable.
Remove the two cameras and metal shields.

Please don’t doubt that the Xiaomi Mi 3 uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor.
