1. The HP Envy 13-ad series laptop has two different bottom cases. You need to remove the bottom case to check your part number.
2. To replace the bottom case, you need to remove all the screws on the bottom case and then insert a plastic pick between the bottom case and the laptop body. Slide the pick to release all the latches that secure the bottom case to the laptop.
