Samsung Galaxy Buds 2/Buds X Got Their FCC Certification

The upcoming Galaxy Note20 series is set to be launched on 5th August. There are many devices which are expected to launch in the same event. But some devices like the Galaxy Tab S7 series and Galaxy Fold series is scheduled to be launched later on 22nd August.

Recently, we got some leaks, and it seems like Samsung is likely to launch another product in the Galaxy Note20 launch event. The product is Samsung’s Galaxy Buds 2 (maybe Buds X). The product got its FCC Certification today. It got a model number SM-R180R and SM-R180L, the first R (in the model number) points us that this can be a new model Galaxy Buds.

Moreover, it is also mentioned in certification that it is a Bluetooth headset that is equipped with DTS “Digital Transmission System.” The application for this certification was applied by “Samsung Electronics Company Limited.”

The FCC Certification reveals almost nothing about the product except the model number. It was also reported that the product was being tested with Samsung’s old flagship “Galaxy S9”. It is most likely that Samsung will name it “Galaxy Buds X,” as the same name is already found in the official wearable app of Samsung.

Currently, it is only expecting that Samsung may launch this product in its upcoming UNPACKED event or maybe on another launch event (expected on 22nd August).
