Moto G40 (Ibiza) Bags 3C Certification With 10W Charging

It was reported that Motorola would launch a new 5G supported model in its G-Series, named “Moto G40.” The smartphone (with model No. XT2137-2) has appeared on different certification sites. Today, it got another certification.

Today, the smartphone has been listed on the famous Chinese 3C (or CCC) Certification site. The certification has revealed that this device will support 10W Charging (5V, 2A) only. Moreover, it uses the charger MC-108, which has been used with many Motorola smartphones in the past.

As mentioned, the applicant of this certification is “Motorola Mobility Technologies (China) Company Limited,” while the manufacturer is “Motorola Mobility LLC.”

The Moto G40 may also support 5G as per previous info as a 5G chipset powers it. The chipset device uses is Snapdragon 480 5G, the entry-level 5G chipset from Qualcomm. It is based on an 8nm manufacturing process and has a maximum frequency of 2.0 GHz (Kryo 460).

It was also reported that Moto G40 might be equipped with a 90Hz Display as well. Most probably, it will feature HD+ resolution. As observed, the device would be a competitor to OPPO A93 5G and Vivo Y31s.

It is expected that Moto G40 will be announced by the officials soon.
