After the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset launch, every smartphone manufacturer is now introducing their new flagship model. That’s why the famous Chinese smartphone brand “OnePlus” can’t also be left behind in this race.
This morning, the founder of OnePlus @Pete Lau (on Weibo) has officially revealed that the all-new OnePlus 10 Pro will be launched in January 2022. However, he hadn’t mentioned the exact launch date or any other detail.
As per sources, it is known that the new OnePlus 10 series would consist of three models: OnePlus 10R (the lowest positioned model), standard OnePlus 10, and OnePlus 10 Pro.
It is worth mentioning that the OnePlus 10R is expected to feature an old Qualcomm’s chipset like Snapdragon 888 or maybe Dimensity 9000 chipset. In contrast, the Standard and Pro models of the OnePlus 10 series will feature the recently launched Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset, also previously confirmed by founder Liu Zuohu.
Moreover, the OnePlus 10 Pro specifications were also revealed previously. It was noted that the new flagship phone would feature a 6.7 inches Single Punch-Hole (at the top-left) AMOLED Display with 2K+ (QHD+) resolution and 120Hz refresh rate support. The punch-hole would consist of a 32MP lens.
On the backside, there would be a triple camera setup, consisting of a 48MP Outsole Primary Camera lens + 50MP Outsole Super-Wide Angle lens + 8MP Telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. The charging power of the device would be limited to 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
