It is reported that iQOO has launched a new smartphone in its entry-level category. The smartphone belongs to iQOO’s U Series and is named iQOO U3x, the affordable version of the standard iQOO U3.
The listing on the official website has also revealed the price, as well as the complete specifications of the device. The specifications are discussed below.
In terms of display, the phone is equipped with a 6.58 inches LCD Display with Water-Drop Notch. It features a Full-HD+ (2400x1080p) resolution, a refresh rate up to 90Hz. Moreover, the screen ratio is 20.07:9, while the screen-to-body ratio is 90.61%. It also supports 16.7M Colors and 401 PPI (pixel per inch).
The phone has dimensions of about 164.15*75.35*8.40mm and also weighs around 185.5g. Moreover, it is also mentioned that the side frame is made up of plastic. Inside the phone, a 5000mAh Battery has been equipped with support up to 18W fast charging.
The iQOO U3x is powered by the Snapdragon 480 5G chipset, equipped with X51 5G modem. The chipset is based on an 8nm manufacturing process and has a maximum frequency of about 2.0GHz (with Kyro 460 core). The chipset is also equipped with Adreno 619 GPU.
In terms of camera, the phone adopts a Dual-Camera setup. The primary camera is a 13MP sensor with an f/2.2 aperture, while the second one is a 2MP Depth Lens with an f/2.4 aperture. On the front side, a single 8MP lens has been used in the notch.
In terms of appearance, the phone is equipped with a side-fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C Port (for fast charging), and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Moreover, the device is also equipped with an LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.1 Storage.
The iQOO U3x is available in three storage variants: 6+64GB (Priced at $184), 4+128GB (Priced at $184), and 8+128GB (Priced at $230). It would be available in two different colors: Grey and Magic Blue. The phone is available for pre-booking, and buyers will get it on April 1.
