This morning, Vivo has officially announced that they will launch the all-new Vivo X60 series on 29th December (at 7:30 PM Chinese Standard Timing). The company has released the launch date poster on their official Weibo account.
The phone seems to be a lot camera-focused as the main highlight of the camera, “Ultra-Stable Micro-head Sensor,” is also mentioned in the poster.
As we reported earlier, the all-new Vivo X60 will feature the Exynos 1080 chipset (for the first time), a 5nm octa-core chipset based on the EUV manufacturing process. The chipset has the highest frequency of 2.8 GHz with a Cortex-A78 core. The chipset also got a Mali-G78 (10-Core) GPU.
The high-end version would be named “Vivo X60 Pro+”. It will be powered by Snapdragon 888 chipset (with Cortex-X1 Super Core).
It is also expected that the Vivo X60 series will feature an AMOLED Display with curved sides. The display would feature a 120Hz refresh rate. There may be a single punch-hole on the standard version’s display and a dual punch-hole on the higher-end variant.
A quad-camera setup that is being developed in collaboration with Zeiss optics is also there. Following lenses are included in the camera: a micro-head camera lens, two parallel camera lenses, & a ToF camera.
The launch event of Vivo’s upcoming X60 series will happen on 29th December.
